The Freshetarian

The Freshetarian recognizes that a  healthy society  starts with a healthy individual.  The Freshetarian also recognizes that the healthy individual begins with the day to day, minute by minute lifestyle choices that he or she makes.  These lifestyle choices include the food that we eat, the water that we drink, the air that we breath, and the quality and tone of our mental impulses.  If we seek to ingest the highest possible quality of each of these,  and then see that they are delivered in appropriate levels to each and every cell of our body, we will live life at the  highest possible levels of health.  If we follow the basic principles of freshetarianism, we can lead the healthiest and most  fulfilling life  possible.  We use the term "Fresh" To apply to all that we consume; Fresh clean food, Fresh clean water, Fresh clean air, and Fresh clean mental impulses or input.

The Problem

People in the United States are getting fatter, and sicker.  We have the highest obesity rates and illness rates of any society in history.  While we are getting better at covering up the symptoms of these illnesses with drugs, we are not curing them.  Cancer, autoimmune diseases, and  childhood sickness rates are sky rocketing in America.  The cost of treating American's illnesses is growing much faster then any other sector of the economy.

Most Americans do not even know what healthy food is.  When told that eating fresh, uncooked, unprocessed  foods is one of the most important  ways to good health, their first question is," What will I eat for breakfast"?   Eating mostly fresh foods is almost inconceivable.   The processed food  lifestyle has so permeated our lives that many people don't even consider fresh fruits and vegetables as food.  Even most of the so called vegetarians in America eat foods that are so processed as to become indistinguishable for the packaging that it came wrapped in.  This form of vegetarianism is no more healthy then the person who eats a 2 pound of well done charcoal barbequed beef per day, and will have many of the same diseases.

Water quality is improving, but the government has seen fit to mass treat the water with fluorination.  Fluoride is a poison and carcinogen as damaging as mercury and  lead.  While our bodies have use for trace amounts of fluoride, it is generally not necessary to supplement it in the water, any more then it would be necessary to supplement mercury or lead.  Given the choice between tooth decay and cancer, I choose tooth decay.

The majority of  Americans live in crowed air polluted cities.  While air quality has improved since the early 1970's, there have been recent assaults of the very legislation that created those air quality changes.

Most people are completely unaware of what the term "mental impulse" means.   Even the concept of mental impulses is so "out there" that many people reject the notion before giving it a thorough consideration.  Yet, we all know that distress and worry can make you sick.  You have to ask yourself what part of the human system do distress and worry come from?  Well of course, it comes from the nerve system.  It is extremely important to maintain the quality and efficiency of the nerve system if you want optimum health.  I will detail this later in the website.

The Solution

It is time for each and every American to take responsibility  their own health.   This responsibility begins with a detailed study of how to create a vibrant, enthusiastic and  healthy lifestyle.  Once a real knowledge of where real health comes from, it is possible to gain personal control of your own and your families health.

Soon I will have finished my new book, "The Principles of Freshetarianism."   This book will outline the basic ideas that I have regarding how to lead a healthy life.  In the mean time there are many great books, products  and web sites already out there.  In this website, I will attempt to provide links to as many of them as I can find.  Not every thing in each of these books or web sites can be considered Freshetarian, but the idea is to provide you with source material to study where real health comes from.  I believe that in time you will come to many of the same conclusions that I have and that you to will adopt the Freshetarian lifestyle.
